Experience Glasnevin offers engaging tours and programmes for Third-level learners and Language School students, exploring Ireland's unique social and political history through the incredible stories of those buried here. We invite students to deepen their knowledge and understanding of Ireland's place in Europe's development, contemplate our recent history, learn new skills and share new memories.
During this engaging two-part programme participants will explore and learn the importance of the tourism industry, how to manage customer service, and all the techniques used by our experienced guides to deliver a successful tour.
A feature on many third-level courses, this programme is ideal for students of heritage and culture, local history, tourism, undergraduate arts and communications.
Part one focusses on research skills and training. Part two involves applied learning - participants step into the shoes of the tour guide to perform, inform and entertain their audience. Each participant will receive individualised feedback from an experienced tour guide and those who complete the programme will receive a Certificate of Achievement.
