Goldenbridge Burials

Set on just two acres of land, Goldenbridge Cemetery incorporates many of the classical features of 19th-century architecture and funerary monuments. Its delineated pathways and high walls create an oasis of tranquility in what is now the heart of a busy suburb. We are to pleased have new burial spaces available within the cemetery, offering a quiet space for contemplation and commemoration.

    How to Arrange a Burial

Your first port of call is to contact a Funeral Director who will assist you in planning.

When it’s time to arrange a funeral, if the deceased wished to be buried, you will need to own a burial plot or grave. A grave can be bought at the time of arranging the funeral, but frequently nowadays people are securing a grave in advance for either themselves or their family. Unlike some cemeteries, a grave or graves can be purchased in advance in the Goldenbridge Cemetery.

    Columbarium Wall

For those who have chosen to be cremated, the Colmbarium Wall at Goldenbridge provides a final resting place for loved ones and a peaceful space for families and friends to return to and honour their memory.

The wall contains a series of small niches, designed for the placement of an urn containing ashes of the deceased behind an engraved limestone memorial plaque. Families may visit the cemetery to select a niche, or our experienced staff will make the selection on your behalf.

Many families opt to gather and inter the ashes together in a ceremony. Niches may be reserved a the time of cremation alongside a family member. Please contact us for advice on how this option can be tailored to meet your requirements.
