Dublin Cemeteries Trust is committed to making our website and services accessible, in accordance with European Accessibility Act, Directive (EU) 2019/882. This accessibility statement covers content published on dctrust.ie.Under construction.
Accessibility Status
The website mentioned above is partially compliant with both WCAG A & AA standards and with the aforementioned European Accessibility Act. Certain exemptions apply and are detailed in the ‘Exemptions’ section below. We continue to improve our website, and these improvements are outlined in the ‘Non Accessible Content’ section below.
Exemptions
The following types of content are exempt from the European Accessibility Act guidelines:
● Pre-recorded media (pre-recorded videos) published before 28th June, 2025.
● Offi ce fi les (PDFs and Word documents) published before 28th June, 2025.
● Third party content not created, controlled or funded by Dublin Cemeteries Trust, such as linked videos, Google maps, external documents etc.

Accessible Content
We have made improvements across the website to make it more accessible for as many users as possible. Due to these upgrades, users can now:
● Navigate most of the website using keyboard or speech recognition software.
● Listen to most of the website using screen reader or other assistive technology.
● Access some customer critical documents (such as PDFs and Word Documents) that were published before 28th June 2025.
● Some documents on this website may be published in the Portable Document Format (PDF) format, which requires users to download and install the free Adobe Acrobat Reader software.
